I can only imagine what things will look like later this week, but check out the progress so far!

Here is a view of the front...

...and one of the back!

One of my favorite things has been the rock retaining wall that they put in. This is along our driveway...so amazing.

Stockings...

So, every year since Adele's first Christmas, I have been knitting stockings for the family. Not once have I had all of them done and not once have I been satisfied with those from the year before. So, each year, to the disgust of Anthony, I have ripped out my least favorites and started new ones. At least I reused the same yarn!

Well, this year I really went for it. I bought all new yarn and after making three stockings that I didn't like, I finally decided on a pattern. I am proud to say that this year we all have matching stockings hanging and Christmas is still weeks away.

Let's hope that I still like them next year!

Here are the fruits of my labor...

(I bought enough yarn to make two more stockings...hoping to use them in the next few years!)

Boy Party

Here are the overdue pictures of Nate's birthday party! I mentioned this before, but we had it on the anniversary of our coming home. Crazy that it has been over a year now. It was a regular birthday party (although blue was something new for us) and was just so fun to finally celebrate this little man.

Enjoy the pics!

Yes, I decorate with nearly every car we had. It was fun!

A boy cake!!

I told you I used all the cars!

Our sweet family

Yummmm

The only presents that we asked for this year were boy books. I was getting a little tired of reading princess books to Nate! (Oh, and that is the shirt I made for him.)

I have one last picture that I wanted to include. As I spent time setting the decorations on the table, Adele worked really hard at her little African setup by the front door. She was so proud...I was too. = )

House Update

We are headed over to the lot again today, but I figured that I would go ahead and post some pictures of the progress. Last time I posted they were just starting a hole in the ground...now there isn't even a hole left!

We are supposed to start framing next week! This is just insanely exciting!!
