Wrapping Up The Summer!

Summer has ended. The kids are in school and I'm learning our new normal. We have this new beautiful home that I am slowly getting together. I have a first grader and a kindergartner and next week Lucy starts preschool. I will have only one at home. Do you realize that the only time I have had that in the last five and a half years was that brief time between when Elise went off to preschool and before I went to receive Nate? And Nate isn't even a baby...it won't even be a baby I have here.

It's strange how life keeps changing. Anyway, enough of my sentiment...

Summer on Canterbury Road, that's what you came for here...here is a snippet!

A bit wet from a little playing in the rain...

Some potty-training (yes, puppy is wearing her underwear)...

The Chicken Run, which Lucy got to participate in this year (the second picture shows how it went for her)...

And just some good old fashion fun at home...

About caught up!

Summer on Conser Street...

Okay, summer update...just think, soon I'll be back to the present! So, what did this summer look like for us before the whole moving thing? Well...

A great crop of strawberries from our old strawberry patch. (Remember when we planted those Annie?)

A little Sheridans Frozen Custard (and a non-dairy donut for Nate)...

A little water fun...

hehehehehe...

And Lu did a little bit of pre-preschool.

Which we, of course, celebrated at Sheridans.

Well, I think that wraps things up at our old place! Next update we'll be in the right place!!

Behind in life...

I have been watching all my regular blogs lately and all those mamas seem to be getting their act together now that school has started...but not me! I feel behind in life. And I hate posting new pictures when I know there are others that I should post before them. Like how can I post school pics if I haven't even posted Elise's birthday from April?!

So, let's play a little catch up...

Elise turned 5 back in April. (This is so embarrassing that I am just now posting this.) Apparently she is the classic middle child since I am just now getting to this...I should know better, I'm a second born too. But it (her birthday) was great and she is just incredible.

After Elise's birthday was Easter (still embarrassed)...

And then school wrapped up...

Whew! Next entry...SUMMER!! Sadly, I feel as though I have really accomplished something here. A pitiful accomplishment, but I'll take it!
